You can also get all your Food covered with the hydrophonic building on starbases. You can set up a monthly trade buying up to 52 Minerals per month without having it affect the price. If you're making your own basic resources, make sure you don't create too many specialist jobs.Īt the start of the game it's more efficient to produce Energy and trade it for Minerals on the market than it is to actually mine the Minerals.
